Dr. Scott Olson

I’m a pastor, theologian, mentor, coach, and missional practitioner who lovingly comes alongside emerging and seasoned leaders as they discern their next faithful steps.

Whether through leadership, mentoring, coaching, writing, or music, I’ve always been drawn to walking alongside people—creating space for them to listen for what God is stirring deep within, discover how he has uniquely shaped and gifted them, and discern what the next faithful steps might look like in the chapter ahead.

Dr. Scott Olson and his wife, Anna, were married in December 1994. Together, they have two adult sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. For more than 32 years, Scott’s life and work have been shaped by a deep love for people and a desire to come alongside them as they listen for what God is stirring, discover how they have been uniquely shaped and gifted, and discern what faithfulness might look like in the next chapter of their story.

Scott’s own journey has taken him through a wide range of pastoral, missional, educational, and community settings. He has planted and replanted five churches, shepherded three others, and served as Program Manager for My Father’s House Family Shelter in Portland, Oregon.

Scott holds a MAPS in Movemental Theology & Praxis and D.Min. in Missional Leadership from Multnomah Biblical Seminary. He was one of the founders of Fidelis International Seminary and currently serves as a Faculty Mentor with both Redemption Seminary and Kairos University.
